Saving a Warren Buffett Sized Fortune in Press Release Distribution Costs

One misconception floating around in entrepreneur land about press releases is that they cost a fair amount of money to distribute. True, you could spend anywhere from $40 on the cheap end on up to hundreds. But, you don’t need to spend anything. Today, as part of my press release success series, I’ll show you exactly how you can get your press releases sent out to the world without spending a fortune no matter how many releases you want to send daily.

As always, you have to look at what your overall purposes for a task are. In our context, we want to simply gain backlinks to our site through either the press release itself or through a site owner rewriting it and linking back to us. We don’t need every possible journalist in the world to see it (many just toss press releases in the trash anyway).

So what if you’re not Warren Buffett, but you want to submit multiple press releases each day? Normally, that will add up to thousands a month or higher, which is far too much to spend on press releases for the average small site owner.

Thankfully, we’re in luck.

Free Press Release Submission Saves the Day

There are many, many sites that will accept your press release for free. There’s no need to spend money at all—unless you want to outsource the task of submitting the release to someone.

Want to get into Google News? No problem. In the old days, I’d spend $40 per release minimum, just because I wanted to get into Google News. Today, I don’t.

I’ll just submit my press release to a collection of free PR submission sites and I end up in Google News and many other places. It’s pretty easy.

Remember, your press release will generally stick in Google News for about 30 days, but it can fall out sooner.

Saving Time

If you’re going to submit the PR yourself, I’d recommend picking about 10-15 of the better sites and going from there. Once you’ve set everything up (some sites require registration), you’ll be good to go.

Many sites are hit and miss as far as things like getting into Google News, so don’t make snap judgements. Just be diligent and keep submitting your releases to the same places each time.

If your time is important, you could probably outsource this task for a few dollars. I have my workers doing this for me as I have better uses for my time.

Let’s Wet Your Appetite—Action Time

Before going today, I want to give you 10 free press release submission sites that will get you going. If you’re a subscriber to my free Internet Business Entrepreneur Insider’s Newsletter, you’ll be receiving about 50 more awesome places—better places—as soon as I finish writing this article.

BTW, don’t worry if you’re seeing this days, weeks or months later. I’m putting all those sites as part of an “entry package” for new subscribers. Just go here (new window), enter your email and it’s yours.

Ok, here’s your 10 free press release submission sites to get you going:
